Beginning and End…
The Youth in Mission Congress 2010 is past! With mixed feelings we say good bye to all our good friends who we have shared time with the last five days. About some of them we have already talked as good friends, some of them are good friends now, but all of them are GODS children. Time has been incredible!
The closing event helped us reflecting the Congress: a short review, a touching sermon, thankfulness in words and sadness in the face of happy people because it should take another year to the next Youth in Mission Congress. We will meet again, if it is GODS will, from April 21 to April 25 2011. We will share new experiences and see how GOD lead us the last year.
Of course we will send you Newsletter and you can use the material provided on the homepage. We are interested in your feedback, your experiences and report. So don’t be shy!
Thank you for coming, stay with GOD in the future. We are called to go out and be a light for other people!
GOD's blessings,

Starting our journey…
"Welcome everybody to the Youth in Mission Congress!"
The opening ceremony started in time and our moderators entered the stage. More than 1000 People were listening attentively to them. After a few songs we had the possibility to listen to the organization committee. Astrid Müller, the responsible expert on educational questions, informed us about the hours of work in preparation for the YiMC: 29 asked people worked more than 2000 (!) hours.
In the afternoon some attendees carried out social projects in Mannheim. We had a cleanup for the city of Mannheim, a music program for a nursing home, hair cutting, a project for derelicts and a handicraft-work project. In the evening our Volunteers gave us different reports of what they had experienced.
After the introduction Mr. Schäfer, town councilor from Mannheim, was addressing a few words to the audience. "It's a pleasure to welcome you again, here in Mannheim. […] Tell other people about GOD no matter if they are Christians or not. GOD wants us to show responsibility – keep working for him." We want to thank him for his encouragement and his experiences.
As speaker for the sermon we had Matt Parra talking about the way Satan managed to convince other angels about the injustice of GOD. The devotional atmosphere brought an inner peace to all of us. We experienced a huge blessing and everything went fine. We also want to mention the 380 participants watching the sermon via live stream.
We want to thank GOD for his presence!

It's time for the beginning – Youth in Mission Congress No. 4 has started! We are very happy to welcome more than 1000 young people interested in learning more about Jesus. We are going to share time together in the next five days.
We are very thankful for our hosts the "Integrated Comprehensive School Mannheim-Herzogenried" who provide their school buildings. Many busy Volunteers arrived already on Tuesday to prepare everything for Thursday. The gym was prepared and also the school building so that over 1200 people can sleep there. Facing little difficulties God always had a plan and a solution for the upcoming problems.
Not everybody has the possibility the join us here in Mannheim. Therefore we invented a live stream. See www.yimc.de and enjoy it!
As speakers we are glad to welcome Chris Berger, Matt Parra and B. P. They are going to serve us with their thoughts and their knowledge. Additionally we can offer 27 Workshops discussing different topics.
We want to ask you as a reader to pray for our Congress – that is very important for the success of the Congress. God is going to do great things for us if we are ready for his big plans. The next days we are going to give you more information about our Congress. We want to share our experiences with you!
